Curb Appeal Here are just a few tips to add to your homes curb appeal. Anything done to improve the appearance of the exterior of your home will increase it's perceived value in the eyes of a prospective buyer. • A well kept lawn is a must. Try to keep it green even during the winter months (in California this is not so difficult). • Keep driveway and all walkways clear of cars, toys, tools and overgrown shrubs. Park cars in the garage if possible and try to remove any driveway stains. • Clean the windows! Exterior windows should be clean and all shutters and moldings should be painted if necessary. • House number should be visible from the street. • Keep the outside of your home well-lit. Replace or install additional outside lights as necessary.
